Network Engineering

Network engineering is the computer science that deals with communication creation, establishment and troubleshooting between or in between end points . The biggest network in the world is the internet.

The internet is a good example of understanding what network engineering is all about. We all have devices (cell phones, computers, laptop, consoles.. etc.) that connects to the internet to get our things done. Have you ever wondered how the internet came to life? Back in the 1960’s, the internet started as a DoD project to allow certain military locations all over the globe to communicate with the command center at the Pentagon. this project evolved to contained more location as years passed by of development. Nowadays, the internet is the main carrier of most unclassified DoD and other US. government agencies as well as many other foreign countries around the world.

In my posts, you will learn most of what you need to become a network engineer. whether you come from no networking background like some system engineers, or if you are lacking the knowledge of IP routing , switching or network appliances such as firewall, WAFs, VPN etc. you will find it here. Let’s dig in.
